I don't know many people pursuing a PhD in ancient Greek theatre who also play the banjo. "Well-rounded" doesn't even scratch the surface....This woman broke Plato's heart.
Alysse has started an informal arts working group in Toronto for anyone interested in developing work-in-progress. An opportunity to receive constructive criticism from a cross section of peers in the arts; the group so far includes musicians, writers, filmmakers, visual artists, and one lawyer. The group is a symposion (because 'symposium' is so Roman....), and is part of being on-the-ball in 2010.
