among the lovely things i received this week was one particularly fabulous surprise. a new york artist named jason polan has a blog called 'the drawing project', where he posts one original drawing each day. the first person to email him with their address will receive the drawing in the mail. i am now the proud owner of drawing #87, 'a man standing in the open doors of a train.' it arrived on my birthday, courtesy of two marvel comic stamps (the fantastic four and captain america, in that order). i am very pleased. as for you, rebecca morgan, there will be new work to post soon. bright, shiny new thesis work.
